Hi, I'm posting here because the email link on the 'contact us' on green-cycles.com doesn't work.
Hey thanks nimbuzz.. I corrected the e-mail link. I hope all the bugs off my new site are gone. It's always a work in progress.

Nice bike! I have three good ebikes and commute heavy-duty over a mountain. This looks like a very realistic, affordable, good quality bike. One BIG improvement would be to develop a rack where the battery could be mounted in the triangle of the frame. Even though many other ebikes also put the battery on the rear rack it is undesirable to have it there as the weight that far back and that high really messes up the bikes handling and it is very hard to park it as it falls over very easily. Even if it costs more it would make the bike much more fun and practical to make a mount in the triangle -- believe me as I have both. The Bionix bikes have a nifty frame mount pack and ebikes.ca has a canvass triangle mounting pack that is a simple inexpensive start in that direction.
Carry on the good work!
I agree with you that the lower the battery is, the easier it is overall to handle the bike, but there were a few reasons why I still went with this design.
- The rear-rack on the Green Bike is as low as it can get because it is DIRECTLY on top of the rear wheel and fender. Because of this, it is still very manageable to handle the bike. The kick-stand is very sturdy and supports the bike upright perfectly.
- The lockable carrier that the battery/controller are in, has LOTS of free space that doubles as practical storage.
- We can fit even larger batteries for even greater range using this design for anybody that requests it
- And last but not least, having a box on a rear-rack keeps the bike looking like a regular bike. If it was in the middle of the diamond frame, or some other "odd" location people are not used to, it will arouse peoples attention, and we want the bike to stay low-key to the untrained eye.
